Anniversary Project

What is the Anniversary Project?

This is a new approach by ADAPAC to reach out to our sustaining donors—those who have consistently given over the past few years.  Instead of receiving phone calls on behalf of the PAC, ADA members will simply receive an email or snail mail letter about 6 weeks out from the anniversary of the last contribution to ADAPAC.

How do I participate in the Anniversary Project?

It is simple. You respond to the annual reminder by either going to this Web site and clicking on "Donate Today" and making a secure credit card contribution via the ADA Online Business Center.  Alternatively, you can go to "Donate Today"  and download a contribution form, write a personal check and mail it in.  Those members who receive a letter in the mail instead of an email, you can send in your check with the enclosed donor slip and self-addressed return envelope.

What is the benefit of participating in the Anniversary Project?

One hundred percent of funds raised through this project will go directly to pro-nutrition federal candidates.  Furthermore, you will not be called at home or work and asked for a donation like you may have in the past.  You will simply be reminded each year in advance of the last donation you made, or your “anniversary” date.

Can I still give at ADA meetings?

Absolutely! And it will count towards your annual reminder. Just remember that ADAPAC operates on a calendar year, not the ADA fiscal year.  Donations are cumulative over the course of the calendar year.
